| Our adventure starts in the mountain village
of "Villa la Angostura", in the heart of "Nahuel Huapi National Park",
the outdoor Mecca of the Andes range in the Province of Neuquen. Known
as the Lake Region due to the many lakes left behind by ancient glaciers
that receded million of years ago. Located on the "7 Lake Road", only
30 miles away from Bariloche´s International Airport. Villa la Angostura is located 1000 miles southwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina´s capital city. The best way to get here is to take a direct 2 hour flight from the domestic airport "Aeroparque Jorge Newbery" to Bariloche airport in the Province of Rio Negro. Our private shuttles will be waiting for you and it will take 45 minutes to get to the village. The best way to get from "Ezeiza" international airport (foreign flight arrivals) to the domestic airport "Jorge Newbery" is to take shuttles which depart every 30 minutes and cost $15. Because of the traffic, the trip may take approximately 70 minutes. |
